How We Handle Your Photos

At GatherAI, we understand that your photos are personal and precious. Here's exactly how we handle them:

Your photos are processed securely and temporarily. We do not permanently store your uploaded photos on our servers. Once processing is complete, source photos are automatically deleted.

What Data Do We Collect?

GatherAI collects minimal data necessary to provide our service:

  • Photos you upload: Temporarily processed for AI merging, then deleted
  • Generated images: Stored locally on your device only
  • Analytics data: Anonymous usage statistics to improve the app (no personal data)
  • Purchase information: Processed securely through Apple/Google, we don't see payment details

Where Is My Data Stored?

On your device: All generated photos and videos are stored locally on your device. You have full control over these files.

During processing: When you create a merged photo, your source images are temporarily uploaded to our secure servers for AI processing. They are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing.

We never store:

  • Your original uploaded photos permanently
  • Facial recognition data or biometric information
  • Any personal information from your photos

Do You Share or Sell My Data?

No. Never. We do not share, sell, or transfer your photos or personal data to any third parties. Your photos are yours alone.

AI Processing & Machine Learning

GatherAI uses advanced AI to merge people into scenes. Here's what you should know:

  • Your photos are NOT used to train our AI models
  • Processing happens in isolated, secure environments
  • No human reviews your photos during normal operations
  • AI processing is performed solely to generate your requested output

How Can I Delete My Data?

You have full control over your data:

Generated photos: Delete them directly from your device's photo library or within the GatherAI app in the Library section.

Account data: You can request complete deletion of any data associated with your account by contacting us.

To request data deletion:

  • Email us at [email protected]
  • Use subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include the email associated with your purchase (if applicable)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Security Measures

We take security seriously:

  • All data transfers use TLS/SSL encryption
  • Temporary files are stored in encrypted, isolated environments
  • Access to processing servers is strictly limited
  • Regular security audits are performed

Children's Privacy

GatherAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately for deletion.
